The harsh noon sun shone down upon my beautiful brown skin. The calming waves of Hawaii hit hard against the large, white yacht which I had been bathing upon for the past hour. Over-heating was not on my Hawaiian bucket list so I dived in. The refreshing lush water took hold of me pulling me towards a group of tropical, blue dolphins. I wished I had, had my camera, the shiny creatures circled me leaving me a tad worried. After I managed to slip away and climb aboard the white yacht once again, I spotted the large number of sunbathers.

Handkerchiefs were drawn, everyone seemed to have one. I watched tears glide down the cheeks of Oenone’s loved ones as her coffin was lowered into the cruel dark ground. Her ceremony came to a beautiful conclusion as a simple tree  was planted as grave stone. Long years brimming with bills, firings and arguments passed. The only place I could go to clear my heavy mind was the park. I spent most evenings walking through, breathing in the crisp air. When one day the tree that had been planted for Oenone was suspended in the air by a huge, grey hand.

I walked down the beach, dragging my toes gingerly along the damp sand. The sun was setting, a remarkable yellow filled the substantial sky however, there seemed to be a patch of darkness it was very faint but it was definitely there. I brushed the thought away as I discovered my whole foot was submerged in water at least up to my ankle the tide was coming in fast.I hesitantly decided to leave the beautiful beach for the day. By the time I reached my car the sun had completely set and darkness had flooded our blanket of a sky.
